The airwaves and Internet are full of national political bluster. Yet the future of Tucson is on the line this election season. Jonathan Rotshchild, Shirley Scott, Regina Romero and Paul Cunningham are excellent leaders and are running good campaigns. Yet we still face Jim Click’s money, a surprisingly hostile local newspaper and an all out push from Phoenix Republicans to elect their kind of candidates. The race is far from over.
Here’s how you can help:
- Your $10 donation buys us 50 pieces of campaign literature, outlining the stakes of the election.
- For $30, you can help us reach 60 door steps around Tucson to remind Democrats to vote.
- For $60, you can pay for one dialer session, as we work to get voters to fill out their ballots and mail them into the City Clerk’s office.
