Saguaro Eastside Democrats (SED) August Meeting

Description:  This meeting of SED focuses on ballot propositions.  The audience will be encouraged to voice their opinions about the many propositions that will be on the November ballot.  SED Issues Chair Norma Hogan will provide talking points about many of the issues voters will have to decide on this fall.  The meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. with light refreshments and socializing.  At 7:00 p.m. Hogan will provide the audience with materials and the opportunity to learn about some of the issues. Discussions will then begin with SED member Roger White as facilitator.  Anyone with an interest in finding out more about the many (some controversial) ballot propositions is urged to attend this sound-off session. You do not need to belong to SED to attend. All meetings are open to the general public.

Walk with LD 26 Candidates

Description: The campaigns for Representative Nancy Young Wright, State Senate candidate Cheryl Cage, and State House candidate Don Jorgensen are seeking volunteers to walk in LD 26.  Water and lunch will be provided.  They ask that you RSVP to Aspen Green so that they can prepare the appropriate number of packets.  If you are unable to walk, but would like to volunteer your time, they ask that you contact Adam Kinsey.  Also, Democrats of Oro Valley (DOV) is collecting donations for the food bank, so volunteers may bring donations on Saturday.
