The campaigns for Representative Nancy Young Wright, State Senate candidate Cheryl Cage, and State House candidate Don Jorgensen are seeking volunteers to walk in LD 26.  Water and lunch will be provided.  They ask that you RSVP to Aspen Green so that they can prepare the appropriate number of packets.  If you are unable to walk, but would like to volunteer your time, they ask that you contact Adam Kinsey.  Also, Democrats of Oro Valley (DOV) is collecting donations for the food bank, so volunteers may bring donations on Saturday.

Go Vote 2008 Concert - Calexico, Jim Adkins, and Gabrielle Giffords

The first ever GO VOTE 2008 festival will feature entertainment from Tucson's own Calexico, as well as Jimmy Eat World's lead singer, Jim Adkins. Special guests will include Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords. Enjoy great music and learn about ways to get involved with community organizations from across Southern Arizona!   Ticket options: $15 for students (with valid student ID), $25 general admission, $35 reserved upper balcony seating, or $75 for the VIP package. The VIP package includes a rooftop reception at Hotel Congress with members of Calexico, Jim Adkins, and Congresswoman Giffords; reserved lower balcony seating; a signed concert poster; a commemorative Calexico wall calendar; and a Jimmy Eat World collectors' edition vinyl.
