Description:The nw democrats will host city council member Rodney Glassman and Friends of Sauhuaro National Park director Bob Newton on Wed., Dec. 2nd in the upstairs room of the Thunder Canyon Brewery, East side of the Foothills Mall.
Rodney will discuss his potential condidacy for the US Senate, as well as local Tucson city issues.
Mr. Newton will address the threats to the Sahuaro National Park, one of the nation's premier attractions as an urban park.

Honor Roll Gala

Description:Please join the Pima County Democratic Party for our 16th Annual Honor Roll Gala. This year's honorees are Fmr. State Sen. Victor Soltero, Fmr. State Rep. Lena Saradnik, and the Staff of Fmr. U.S. Sen. Dennis DeConcini. Master of Ceremonies for the event will be Fmr. State Sen. George Cunningham and the Keynote Speaker will be Fmr. U.S. Sen Dennis DeConcini!
Scheduled to appear: U.S. Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, State Rep. Nancy Young Wright, South Tucson Mayor Jennifer Eckstrom and many, many more!

Congressman Raúl M. Grijalva's Holiday Fiesta and Toy Drive!

Saguaro Eastside Democrats December Fundraiser
Date Sunday, December 13
Description:Please plan to attend Saguaro Eastside Democrats' holiday season meeting/fundraiser/social event on December 13th.
What? The Top Hat Theater presents a version of Charles Dickens's The Pickwick Papers. Refreshments and a social time with seasonal music will be included.
Where? Unlike previous Decembers, this time we will have the play at the New Spirit Lutheran Church where we normally hold our regular meetings.
How do you get tickets? Tickets will be available for $15 at our November meeting on November 16th. You can also send a check, payable to "Saguaro Eastside Democrats" to Saguaro Eastside Democrats, PO Box 40211, Tucson AZ 85717.
In addition, as this will be during the Holiday season, we are requesting that you bring a donation of canned food to the performance as a contribution to the church's food bank.
