The Tucson Great Decisions Association is presenting a special program, “The Foreign Policy Implications of CYBERSECURITY.” Speakers will be Dr. Volodymyr Lysenko, Ph.D., and Dr. Eva-Maria Maggi, Ph.D., both from the University of Arizona. Dr. Lysenko has done research on disinformation, information wars and disruption to democratic processes, particularly in the former USSR countries. Dr. Maggi specializes in international norms and democratization, and teaches an online graduate course in international security.
The program will be on Friday, April 21, 2017 at the Viscount Suites Hotel, 4855 E. Broadway. Doors open at 8:30 AM and a breakfast buffet will begin at 9 AM. Reservations in advance cost $17 per person, and must be made by April 17th. Guests may also pay at the door (cash or check only) for $20 each.
